Top five music festivals 2014

Spring has finally arrived and temperatures are slowly but surely going up. This can only mean one thing, festival time! We have handpicked a top five of Britain’s best music festivals. Enjoy!

1. Edinburgh International Harp Festival – From 4 April to 9 April 2014
The Edinburgh International Harp Festival is in its 33rd year and known to be an exciting and welcoming event full of breath-taking and experimental sounds. The programme includes a variety of concerts as well as courses, exhibitions (the Harpmakers’ Exhibition is free!) and workshops. The event takes place in Merchiston, which is just four miles from the city Edinburgh and only fifteen minutes from Edinburgh’s International Airport.

2. The Deverills Festival – From 2 May to 5 May 2014
The Deverills Festival takes places in the Wiltshire valley. It’s an event full of music, drama, comedy, storytelling, street theatre and workshops! This wonderful event includes classical music as well as jazz, folk and world music. There is something for everyone to enjoy! 3. The Latitude Festival – From 17 July to 20 July 2014
Latitude Festival 2014 will take place at Henham Park, Suffolk. The Black Key’s will perform at the festival as will the Editors, Two Door Cinema Club and Lykke Li and many more great performers! There are plenty of other reasons to head down to this amazing festival besides great music though! You can also enjoy a comedy show by Dara O Briain. 4. The Deer Shed Festival – From 25 July to 27 July 2014
The Deer Shed Festival is a kid and family-friendly music and arts festival, which takes place in North Yorkshire parkland. The audience comes from all over the world as well, with around 30 per cent of the 200,000 people of the audience from overseas.
