More Award Winners at Best Loved Hotels – the Considerate Hoteliers!

June 6th in London, the Considerate Hotel Awards ceremony 2013 took place. Best Loved saw 3 of our esteemed hoteliers recognised this year.

Trenython Manor Hotel in St Austell, Cornwall was awarded the “Best Green/Considerate Marketing Initiative”. Nick Waddington together with his team at the hotel created a wildlife sanctuary throughout their 6 acres. It educates the guests, is especially loved by families and it has seen great environmental results! A fantastic forward thinking property with so much to offer it guests!

Montagu Arms Hotel, Beaulieu, New Forest was awarded “The Considerate Sustainable Food Award” for the second year in a row! Executive Head Chef Matthew Tomkinson and his enthusiastic team came out on top in this tightly fought category! Within the New Forest there is no better haven for luxurious guestrooms and mouthwatering Michelin star food!

Owner of Battlestead’s Hotel & Restaurant in Wark on Tyne, Northumberland; Richard Slade was awarded the very prestigious ” The Considerate Good Egg”. This award goes to someone who has inspired and stimulated others to be more environmentally focused and to adopt these principles throughout the work they do. ¬†Battlestead’s Hotel & Restaurant was Considerate Hotel of the Year 2011. The amazing food produced at the property is to be sampled. They are a beacon for sustainable tourism to ¬†many others! Well done to Richard Slade – a Good Egg!
