Morcote (1 km): is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. In fact, the picturesque village on Lake Lugano is part of the Swiss federal Inventory of sites worthy of protection.

Monte San Salvatore (5 km): towers majestically over Lugano, offering a unique perspective of Lake Ceresio, the Lombard plain and of the magnificent mountain ranges of the Swiss and Savoy Alps. The church roof and the Capodoro Terrace with their lookout points offer stunning 360° panoramic views.
Monte Generoso (12 km): At the southern end of Lake Lugano is the 1,701 metre high Monte Generoso. This lofty altitude makes it without a doubt the best mountain for views in the canton of Ticino. A cog railway has been taking visitors up to the peak of Monte Generoso for 125 to enjoy these breathtaking views.
The “Fiore di pietra” (stone flower) created by the famous architect Mario Botta stands majestically on a rugged plateau on the mountain. Its windows offer breathtaking 360° panoramic views, taking in the lakes, the city of Lugano as well as the Matterhorn and Jungfrau all the way to the Bernina Range.
Swissminiature (2 km): Swissminiature is Switzerland on a smaller scale. There are 128 models of houses, castles and monuments in the open air, distributed throughout the 14,000 square meter park.
