Harvey’s Point exciting updates…..

There are clearly several reasons why Harvey’s Point was voted “Number One in Ireland” in the 2013 TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards (and is the only Irish hotel the Top 25 in Europe). One reason would surely be the prime position right next to lovely Lough Eske in Donegal, another is the warm, friendly and helpful service from the dedicated staff, yet another is the sheer size of the rooms – there’s not a small bedroom in the entire place and even the Standard Rooms are enormous and come with a Jacuzzi bath.

Now you can add yet another plus for Harvey’s Point with the recent opening of Harvey’s Seafood Bar and Grill. Beautifully complementing the more formal dining room next door, this former domed function room has been transformed into a stunning space with octagonal bar, blue tiled ceiling, log fire and entrancing views out over the lake. The menu features the freshest Donegal seafood and local produce, including fresh fish from last night’s auction, organic salmon, scallops, Inver lobster, seafood chowder, Irish beef and Donegal lamb.  Just opened and already a hit with customers, it’s informal, fun and clearly great value – it’s worth a trip to Harvey’s Point to check it out!
